Jupe de Soirée
With the approach of the Christmas holiday season, let’s talk well, let’s talk outfit and celebrations outfit!
Whom we are at home with our close family or to our big family with the grandparents, the parents, the uncles, the aunts, the cousins for the big meals or eating out with your lover to the restaurant, we shall not get dressed similar.
For example, in recent years, Christmas was quietly done at home in a small group with my mom and my stepfather. While Paolo, took advantage of a few days off to go to Italy and spend some time with his mother and brother. Meals are festive, gourmet / gourmand but roughly we dress as usual with our everyday outfit.
This year it will be different because for the first time, I will spend Christmas with Paolo’s family in Italy. I’m really happy and excited to discover the region of Genoa and the Italian traditional Christmas meal that is totally different from the traditional French meal. I can not tell you the menu, apparently it depends on the region and every family … then this will be the surprise!
For this change of scene and environment, I want to mark the occasion a little by making a small clothing effort.
For that, I spotted several weeks ago this patchwork pattern skirt on Asos which I find crazy.
Better than a dress that could pass for an evening dress (which would be a bit much for my taste), I find this sequined skirt perfect for its role of evening skirt. And to keep it simple, I will wear it with a black tight sweater hyper sober, a semi-opaque black tights and my little And Other Stories heeled shoes (already seen here and here).
No need furthermore, I think my evening skirt looks great by itself with its motif pachtwork. Moreover, I like so much this skirt and this simple, easy and effective look that I think I will wear the same outfit for the new year eve.
And you, what is your program for Christmas holidays? Will you dress more than usual or not?
