Paolo and I, we met a 14 July. So, Valentine’s Day is an opportunity for us to celebrate our half years. And this time, for Valentine’s Day we celebrate our four and a half years together.
For a fun Valentine’s Day Saturday evening and Sunday, I thought of some ideas for us / you:
Have a drink: with your lover in the lounge/bar of Maison Souquet. The Moorish decor and 1001 Nights of the salon surely remind you the mood of the French film L’Apollonide. We are thinking to go Saturday night, so if you’re also keen of experience it, you might see us 😉
The Joke! : You are a young man full of humor? Why not take your sweetheart to the Lavomatic! Your love will be more than happy furious that you take her to a (real) laundry spend the Valentine’s evening there … Want to push even further? Let her find the button that will take you to the cozy bar upstairs where she will recover from all this emotion big joke in your tender arms ^^
Tip: Make sure she doesn’t not know the place or there will be no surprise ^^
Clubbing for Valentine’s Day: Dance, dance, dance all night, why not? Some will imagine their Valentine romantically, others will apprehend it more wild and crazy and Les Bains Douches seems to me to be the perfect place for that! With its psychedelic stairs and pool, Les Bains Douches are perfect for waking up your “fantasy” that lies within each of us. I have not been back since the reopening so I can not to issue an objective opinion. But it is on my list of places to try in 2016.
I just know that to get the approval of phisio, must have a stylish look. So bet on your originality and your sense of style!
Brunch: This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday, so why not take the opportunity to go to brunch with your lover … at Hotel Amouror Hotel Grand Amour! Think to book it in advance, you never know.
Reading and solitairy pleasure: Single? Why not take a nasty literature evening with sushi, a glass of Champagne, macaroons and Les Mémoires de Fanny Hill, femme de plaisir de John Clevand and if you are not in a literary mood it might be the opportunity to see or reviewLolita from Stanley Kubrick.
Want to do nothing for Valentine’s Day: This date resonates within you as yet another marketing thing and you have decided to boycott the Lover’s Day? No problem! I also have something for you!
Given that the days are fast approaching this Sunday would certainly be the ideal day to book your next Summer vacation and small weekend of May, right? Paolo and I, we have already booked a weekend in Madrid for April and a week off to Menorca this summer.
