Yesterday, meeting by chance Elsa, we quickly came to talk about our summer plans vacation. It’s crazy to think that only this (ie: talking about pleasant things) can comforts us face to the reality that surrounds us. For my part, you probably know already, it will be all about Music Festival in the south of France, then towards the Balearics; Menorca, exactly. I look forward!
But before I realize that I have not written any post on my summer holidays from last year. Even not a small picture, it’s crazy! Yet I was sure to have at least published the first post of our stay on the island of Milos, Greece. Obviously a vacation in late August / early September, creates a lag and the time to sort the pictures, edit them … we were already early October in full rush of Fashion Week, in short not ideal to talk about the summer lazing which unfortunately was too soon replaced by the stress of everyday life. So, it is very late but ultimately the right timing (just before the holidays, right?!) I publish this first post made at Milos, in the Cyclades.
You remember in this post, when I spoke of similarity? Well, the port of Guéthary reminded me a little bit of Klima, a small fishing port, hidden on a mountainside, feet in the water. This place is beautiful and we feel very privileged to have discovered this little gem. These white houses with doors and stairs painted in the colors of the rainbow are so pretty. Barefoot, with my hair combo fed by the sun + sea water and my orange dress in cotton veil flying in the wind, I imagine taking possession of the place. I go up and down the yellow, blue wooden stairs… Here I am, as a Robinson Crusoe, scanning the sea. The boats are ready to be put in the water, fishing nets are clean, the hook is waiting to be throw away but no, I’m like the wind, I only do what I want. Instead of going sailing on the waves, I prefer to play with the sun …
Still few minutes, just a moment before returning to reality 😉
