How to dress in Paris on rainy days? And especially, what shoes to wear? Usually I like to put a dress with a big cardigan to keep warm, tights and riding boots. To tell you all my closet is full of dresses, I have one for every day of the week 😉 It is practical, feminine and effective to dress up in the morning quickly without staying 2 hours in front of our wardrobe by not knowing what to put.
This year, since the first cold, I do not know, I did not want to adopt this usual look. I only wanted to wear pants with fluffy sweaters … A desire to be less feminine perhaps? Or a matter of comfort? Still, everything at its limits. And I realized it a few weeks ago, when my little moccasins did not withstand the rain and I came back with my feet and shoes soaked. My poor shoes have ended up in the trash, since!
So I brought out my vintage riding boots purchased when I was living in London, which I wear today with this super cozy cashmere dress found at Benetton and associated with my vintage lurex vest. We do not change a winner team ! 😉
