Good addresses of restaurants and places to have a drink are always welcome when you visit a city that you discover, so I share some of my addresses in Monaco and Nice, which I tested and enjoyed in 2023.

Restaurant in Monaco :
Le Pavyllon : Located in the Hôtel Hermitage, this one-star Michelin restaurant is ideal for lunch on the terrace. You will have lunch in a quiet environment, with a breathtaking view of the port. The staff is friendly and very caring to serve us.

To have a drink in Monaco:
Buddha Bar : It is a very beautiful place that I recommend to have a drink only. The lower room is ideal for sipping a cocktail while admiring the magnificent moldings on the ceiling and the Buddha enthroned in the middle of the room.

NICE
To have a drink in Nice:
Le Plongeoir : It is the perfect place to have a coffee or a drink in the afternoon. Special mention for this unique place (a rock surrounded by the sea), where you feel like on a boat between the wind and the spray you get. Personally, I came there around 4pm to enjoy a cappuccino and a pastry. I recommend you to try the “Chocolate Truffle”, which is to die for.

La Terrasse : this bar is located on the rooftop of the Hotel Méridien where it is very pleasant to have a drink while admiring the intense turquoise blue of the sea and watching the gulls play with the ascending and descending currents (we could almost touch them as some pass by).

Le Negresco : During the summer season, the bar “Le Versailles” extends on the terrace overlooking the Promenade des Anglais. Nestled under the palm trees, it is the ideal place to taste salty or sweet proposals. Special mention for the “white chocolate and pistachio cookie, pistachio ice cream”.

Nespo : Ideally located on one of the most beautiful avenues of Nice, it is a restaurant that I recommend both by its cuisine (the two tables next to mine praised each of their dishes) as by the friendliness of the place, the neat service and the sunny veranda.
