A week passed without giving you a sign of life because just returned from New York on Monday, I caught the flu. And not just any, the one that nails you in bed for a week!

Therefore, I thought you might like to know my habits with essential oils that I use most often (only in case of cold or to complete medication prescribed by my doctor when it is more serious).


Ravinsara: ideal for boosting the immune system. I use this essential oil in addition to Eucalyptus Radiata and Eucalyptus Globulus.


Eucalyptus Radiata: I use this essential oil as soon as I start to have a sore throat and runny nose. Two drops in a teaspoon of honey, three times daily, until symptoms disappear.


Eucalyptus Globulus: to treat respiratory tract, I use this essential oil alone or in addition to Eucalyptus Radiata.


Peppermint: perfect to dispel headache. A drop on the temples and forehead. Massage gently.

5 minutes after the headache has disappeared!


Lavender: Regenerating and healing to the skin. Personally, I use it when I have bulbs (including feet). Pour a few drops of essential oil on a cotton ball and moisten the wound. Attention it burn a little!


Another tip: If you start to have a sore throat, or runny nose.., this are my “miracle” capsules by Phytosun. Depending on your symptoms. It exist the one for “Nose and Throat” or “Bronches” (available in French Pharmacy, so next time you come to France..^^).

When I’m not sure what essential oils (presented above) take, I turn to these new capsules.

The advantage? These capsules are made of a mix of several essential oils. So it’s great!

In general, the symptoms disappear in a few days 🙂
