Au milieu d’un Shanghai contemporain, on se promène dans le quartier de la Vieille Ville pour s’immerger dans l’agitation du grand bazar où se trouve quelques uns des plus vieux édifices de Shanghai dont certains datent du XVI siècle. Là, passé le pont aux neuf zig-zags (pour désorienter les mauvais génies), on accède au Yuyuan Garden (aussi appelé Yu Garden), le plus grand des anciens jardins de Shanghai avec les styles architecturaux Ming et Qing. A l’intérieur, on se promène à travers les différentes maisons ouverte sur l’étang et le jardin. Le Yuyuan Garden est véritable havre de paix, poétique en plein cœur de la ville.
In the middle of contemporary Shanghai, we walk in the neighborhood of the Old City to immerse themselves in the busy bazaar where are some of the oldest buildings in Shanghai, some of which date back to the XVI century. There, over the bridge to the new zig-zags (to confuse evil spirits), you can access the Yuyuan Garden (also known as Yu Garden), the largest of the former gardens of Shanghai with the architectural styles of the Ming and Qing. Inside, you walk through the various open pond and garden houses. A haven of peace, poetic in the heart of the city.
